Silver Sage Thrift Store

 COVID 19 HOURS: TUESDAY-THURS. 10am-3pm

Friday-10am-2pm

Our Thrift Store is an important resource for helping to fund the Meals On Wheels in Bandera County program. It is operated exclusively by volunteers.

In the store you will find a wonderful variety of items including antique glassware, linens, tools, books, knick-knacks, as well as clothing and sometimes furniture and electronics.

The Thrift Store is located in Bandera at 660 Hwy 16 South in the strip mall next to Aguascalientes Restaurant. You can call the Thrift Store at (830) 796-3590.

Store hours are Tuesday-Thursday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  If you wish to volunteer, please come to Silver Sage at 803 Buck Creek Drive to fill out the volunteer form or call (830) 796-4969.  The form is very easy to complete.

Donations of used but serviceable items are accepted at the store during our hours of operation. All contributions are tax deductible.  The volunteers of the Thrift Store ask that you bring donations to the Thrift Store during opening hours or, if you have to leave items there when the Store isn't open, please leave them at the front door.  Do not leave them at the back door!  The back door isn't used and anything left back there could remain there for quite a while.  This would be appreciated!  They want to make sure that all of your items are put out promptly and in great condition.

Thank you for supporting the Meals On Wheels program for Bandera County.

Volunteers are needed for the Thrift Store.  Requirements are good people skills, efficient, responsible, honest, willing to volunteer one day a week, dependable, and either familiar with a cash register or willing to learn how to operate one.  This is a great opportunity to contribute to seniors in need and have fun meeting new people.
